Mucklehus is a recently extended and renovated 19th century stone built house, built for a Master Mariner in 1890. It is a comfortable, well appointed family home of charm and character, retaining many original features, blending traditional and contemporary style in furnishing and décor. It is ideally situated, roughly one hundred yards equidistant from a pristine sandy beach to the north and spectacular cliffs, which extend for miles to the south. Mucklehus (meaning big house) has its own secluded garden, with outside sitting spaces where you can enjoy the peaceful location and views.
